About KALEIDOSCOPE

Kaleidoscope is Spoon River Community College's literary/arts journal, offering creative works in the genres of poetry, prose, photography, and art since 1983. Kaleidoscope is a student-run publication. Advisors guide the student editing staff in decision-making, but the students run the magazine. The Kaleidoscope Journal of Art and Literature continues its mission to publish fine works of literature and visual arts by students, faculty, employees and friends of Spoon River College.

Sydney Munson, Editor & Website Creator

I'm Sydney Munson, and I am going into my sophomore year at Spoon River College. After graduating, I plan to transfer to a film school to pursue a career in film production. I'm excited to be a part of the Kaleidoscope team this year!
